Garden Delights

Another painting of my favourite flowers - roses.  Amazing how something so pretty can actually be quite vicious.  I had a neighbour once who said she would take clippers and cut every single thorn from her rose bushes.  I can't imagine how long that would have taken her.  Think I'd rather take my chances with the thorns!

Evening Show

Here is another little painting for our Christmas Show.  My camera just isn't picking up all the subtle colours in the Northern lights, or in the trees.  I'll have to find a better place to take my photos.  SOLD

Last Call

Here's another little local scene.  These are rather fun to paint.  A dear friend gave me a Tom Thomson book for my birthday.  He's my absolute favourite from the Group of Seven.  Very inspiring. SOLD
