Majestic birds, and we have a lot in our area. Sometimes they swoop so low over the yard, I worry about our cat. Earlier this year an eagle swooped up a mongrel toy poodle in Sechelt, but luckily dropped it on the grounds of a nursing home. The puppy is fine now, and has a new home. They call her 'Miracle May".
